Fairly traded, organic, unrefined Shea butter. Packed with Vitamin A and E, Shea butter is full of natural anti-oxidants. It is used in high end skin care for its moisturising , restoring and protective properties. Our West African Shea Butter is harvested traditionally by women's co-operatives and fairly traded. We whip it lightly, so it is easier to use before each jar is individually hand filled.

How to use
How to use
Pure Shea butter has a firm texture but don't be put off. Using a spatula or your finger tips place a small amount in the palm of your hand and allow the butter to warm. It will soften at skin temperature and will then be ready to apply to the skin. Use sparingly, a little bit goes a long way!

Why we love it
We believe it is the World's best skin moisturiser! It is the base of all our creams and balms and used on its own it is an excellent facial moisturiser. Only a very tiny amount is required, melt in the palm of your hand and apply to face and neck. It is also fantastic for sore, dry and cracked lips.
